Cut Off From The World
I did not realize how much my family depends on the use of the internet until our home network went out for a few days. My thoughts were that we had been cut off from the world. We were forced to interact with each other because the internet was down. I did not realize how much a part of our lives it had become.

I think the Internet can be a great tool, but I do think that we can get too involved with "virtual" things and neglect real things. As in many areas of life, we need to find a workable balance.
